Tracing Belonging-Japanese Canadian Community in Alberta

Through storytelling and imagery, this project traces the history and present-day lives of people in Japanese Canadian Community in Alberta — exploring how migration, displacement, and rebuilding continue to shape communities. These experiences are not just in the past — they shape the present and remind us that the loss of rights, home, and belonging can happen to any of us.
